“ We stopped at the Back Bistro recently for lunch. I don't work in the area anymore, so it had been a long time since my last visit. It was again, a fantastic experience. While I had a great glass of wine, next time I go, it will be later in the day to enjoy their extensive bourbon selection. Our order consisted of a Cheese Burger, Steak & Potatoes and Mac n Cheese. The Burger (& fries) was made with House ground short rib and bistro filet, backed by Tillamook cheddar cheese, aioli and a soft grilled ciabatta bun. Very Special. My Steak was grilled on fondant potatoes with garlic aioli, balsamic reduction. I added prawns for a surf n turf. Absolutely delicious and I will order again. Our Mac n Cheese was also good enough to make a meal on its own. Service was top notch and the atmosphere while comfortable ..... with a classy, upscale vibe. I will go out of my way to return to this bistro sooner than later. ”

This time, I was looking for a quiet spot to grab lunch before heading home to work some more. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly by Trevor, who seated me promptly and even complimented my clean Vans--a small but appreciated gesture for a former sneakerhead like me. For my meal, I ordered the Steak and Blue Cheese Salad, Crispy Pork Belly, and a half-ounce of Old Fitzgerald 19-Year with an ice cube. Here's how it all went: * Steak and Blue Cheese Salad: This dish surprised me in the best way. I'm not usually one for fruit in my salads, but the apple added a fresh, pleasant touch. Since I don't like blue cheese, I swapped it for parmesan, which worked beautifully. The portion size was perfect for one, and I'd absolutely order it again. * Crispy Pork Belly: Unfortunately, this dish didn't quite hit the mark. While the crispiness was spot on, the overwhelming fattiness coated my mouth, leaving an unpleasant buttery sensation. The pork meat itself was dry, and the sauce didn't balance the flavors as well as I'd hoped. Back Bistro is located in the Palladio near the movie theater, offering a cozy and inviting ambiance. The restaurant features indoor and outdoor seating, with a fire pit for chilly days. Inside, the bar area is the first thing you see--a welcoming space I would've gravitated to if I hadn't needed to work after lunch. Trevor stood out for his kind and attentive service. One moment that resonated was when I asked his colleague for a to-go box, and Trevor stepped in a second later to check if I needed one. When the box arrived, he offered to box up my food without hesitation, showing initiative and thoughtfulness. It's these small touches that elevate the dining experience. Back Bistro remains a solid choice for good food, great bourbon, and warm service. While there's room for improvement with some dishes, the overall experience--enhanced by Trevor's hospitality--makes me want to return. ”

“ We've been here a few times meeting friends for lunch and dinner. This is also a great place for dates as well. This place is upbeat and friendly. The bar area is cool. We waited about 10 minutes for them to get us seated together. Time passed quickly while in awe with the decor. ;) Our waiter was cordial and gave us recommendations on customer favorites. He brought us menus and waters while we checked out the menu and specials. Our food was tasty! The pork belly was delicious. The bacon cheeseburger was good as well. They even made my fries extra crispy and soft on the inside! YUM! My friend went for the steak, mashed potatoes, and brussel sprouts. My other friend enjoyed a lamb burger. Overall, a great place for good food with family and friends. Ample parking. Clean bathrooms. Excellent service and all other staff members were friendly as well. “ We love to go to Back Bistro. Their service, food and ambiance is awesome! They are located in the Palladio next to the movie theaters so the location is perfect. My favorite dinner is the Braised Short Ribs (did not get a picture) but shared a picture of the Old Fashioned and the Goat Cheese Fritters. They also have a make your own Old Fashioned and have a great brunch as well! ”

“ First off, customer service was excellent from host to server, busser, and bar. Everyone was very polite and welcoming! Now to the food, the prawns and scallops was cooked very well. Moist and flavorful. Risotto that accompany it was okay, I had better. The wife love the pairing of the sea bass with the sweet savory rice. I tried some and agree with her. Environment is nice, not too dark, spacious and a beautiful bar. Outdoor sitting is available as well with heat lamps. Overall, food and customer service is great. We enjoyed it and would come again.
